1. Ensure the surface to which the membrane switch will be applied is clean, smooth, free from rust, oil, and dust.
2. Verify the size by placing the membrane switch onto the intended area to confirm that it fits perfectly in terms of both size and positioning.
3. Peel off approximately 10 mm of the release liner from one edge of the membrane switch's base.
4. Carefully position the membrane switch over the corresponding area, securing it partially first. Then, slowly remove the remaining release liner while maintaining an angle no greater than 15 degrees, ensuring even adhesion as you proceed.
5. If the release liner on the reverse side of the membrane switch has been accidentally peeled off during the application process, immediately lay the switch face-up to prevent accidental contact with other objects, thus avoiding contamination or interference with the adhesive properties.
6. Important Notes: Avoid repeated attempts at applying the switch—ensure the process is completed in one smooth motion. Additionally, maintain a peeling angle no greater than 15 degrees. When testing the tactile feel after installation, always place the switch flat on a stable surface before pressing; never press it while holding it in mid-air, as this could compromise its lifespan and performance.
